Microcrystalline Cellulose is purified, partially depolymerized cellulose prepared by treating alpha cellulose obtained as a pulp from fibrous plant material with mineral acids. Microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) is most often used as a filler, flow aid, binder, and compression aid for tablets and capsules. Endurance® VE-050 has a typical average particle size of 50 µm. It is primarily used for wet granulation, direct compression, and extrusion/spheronization for dietary supplement applications.
