Microcrystalline Cellulose is purified, partially depolymerized cellulose prepared by treating alpha cellulose obtained as a pulp from fibrous plant material with mineral acids. Several grades of Avicel® PH MCC are available varying in particle size distribution, density and moisture content. Microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) is most often used as a filler, flow aid, binder, and compression aid for tablets and capsules. Endurance® VE-050 has a typical average particle size of 50 µm. It is primarily used for wet granulation, direct compression, and extrusion/spheronization for dietary supplement applications.

It is primarily used for direct compression, and dry granulation/roller compaction for dietary supplement applications. The particle size of Endurance® VE-090 provides good flow characteristics and compression profiles.

Endurance® VE - 101 containing microcrystalline cellulose, is utilized in dietary supplements for its binding properties. It serves as a binder in both food and pharmaceutical applications, providing structural integrity in powder form.

Endurance® VE - 102 comprising microcrystalline cellulose, finds applications in dietary supplements. It functions as a binder in food and nutrition, as well as in pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals, presenting as a powder.
